In anticipation of a possible second government shutdown in January, we wanted to address the critical question of “What will the U.S. and global economies look like for manufacturers in 2014?”

Panelists: Bill Strauss, Senior Economist and Economic Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Carl Tannenbaum, Chief Economist at Northern Trust (invited), and Cindy Urbaytis, VP of Marketing at the Institute for Supply Management.

Each panelist will address a different aspect of the U.S. and global economies:
• The U.S. economy and the trends in manufacturing from the perspective of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago
• Exclusive: be among the first to hear comments regarding the ISM economic indicators to be released on December 2!
• The trends in business banking from one of the most respected banks: Northern Trust

This event aims to help executives of small and medium sized companies of the Chicago region to better understand what to expect in 2014. The program will start with 3 individual presentations followed by a panel discussion. The event will conclude with a networking reception providing you with the opportunity to meet panelists in person.
